Too bad he's not Republican, or we all would have heard about it.
Bill Cosby had some choice words at an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education:

Cosby said, according to [Washington Post columnist Richard] Leiby: "Ladies and gentlemen, the lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids – $500 sneakers for what? And won't spend $200 for 'Hooked on Phonics.'

He added: "They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk: 'Why you ain't,' 'Where you is' ... And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk. ... Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. ... You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth!"

Very nice -- but imagine if Trent Lott said it. Is there anyone who can take issue with what Cosby said?

Mulatto Boy chimes in:

The beauty of it is that if the Soul Patrol® decide they want to castigate Cosby, they may risk losing support, especially amongst middle and upper class blacks who look to Cosby as a real role model for black achievement.

I love it.

Amen.

We hates him! We hates him forever!!!
The Dems don't have much but their hatred of W. And that ain't gonna get the job done in November.

Pretty pathetic. I'm no huge fan of the guy, but the venom these guys routinely spit out at their policital opponents is amazing. Almost as amazing as the double-standard which is applied by the media to the things said -- if a GOP'er said anything remotely resembling the things said in this article, they'd be crucified.

PEOPLE ARE OUTRAGED!!! THIS CANNOT GO ON!!!!!!!!
Check out this story. Why even write about it? It's about some manufactured outrage over a beer ad. From the article:

Last week, the 20-member Congressional Hispanic Caucus sent a letter to Norwalk, Conn.-based Labatt USA, asking the distributor to pull the ads. And several people turned out at a rally in Los Angeles to protest the campaign.

Let's see.... Twenty members of Congress and "several people" at a rally -- gosh, that's twenty-three or twenty-four people who are angry!!! They better do something quick!!

What if the prisoners at Abu Ghraib were fetuses?
I guess we would never have seen the photos. Stuart Buck makes this interesting point in an excellent article here.

Typical Liberal
This pretty much sums up the arrogance of liberals (especially the elected variety). No tolerance for a different viewpoint? No attempt to understand, communicate, or just get along? Gosh, and I thought liberals were so open-minded.

Mulatto Boy...
nails it again.

I wanted to comment on this earlier, but haven't had a lot of time lately. (As you can see by my lack of posts.) But never fear, Mulatto Boy will always come through!

Utterly Unbelievable
How long before this program is expanded? Why are schools teaching kids how to have oral sex? Disgusting, completely disgusting -- how have people become so blinded?

Where, o where is Ms. Morality when you need her? When will she return to the blogosphere? In her absence, you might choose to peruse the following article on sex education.

Gays in Space
Why do so many homosexuals feel the need to co-opt everything? I mean, they couldn't bear the fact that the Boy Scouts have the right to exclude gays from their ranks. Now they can't stand it that Star Trek doesn't have a gay character. I wonder what the big deal is -- if they are so secure in their gayness, why not just come up with their own show? Why not start their own gay scout group? How would they like it if they started a gay club, and I decided to force myself (and my views) into their group? They wouldn't -- and I certainly respect their right to do just that. Why don't they respect others' rights to do the same?

I won't be voting for this lady...
This is the only Democrat who stands of chance of winning in SC -- coincedentally, she doesn't want to come out as radically pro-abortion, like the rest of the loons. But she is.
