To McCain Supporters Everywhere
Please read this article about Brad Smith, an almost former member of the Federal Elections Commission. This one snippet about an exchange between Mr. Smith and Senator McCain tells you all you need to know about the "distinguished" Senator from Arizona.
“McCain has always refused to meet with me,” Smith says. “I tried to meet him once at a public hearing. He was at the table, and I went up and I said, ‘Senator,’ and I held out my hand. And he instinctively took my hand, and then he looked up and realized who it was, and he yanked his hand away and said, ‘I’m not going to shake your hand. You’re a bully and a coward, and you have no regard for the Constitution. I don’t have to talk to you. I’m not going to talk to you.’ It was right in front of a large number of people, so I don’t think he wants to talk to me.”
All I can say is--what a jerk. I have never been very fond of Senator McCain. Even before he gained national prominence, I would see him in interviews and think "There just isn't something right about this guy." The more I have heard and read about him, the more my initial inclinations about him have been confirmed.

I know, I'm a Genius...
Guess who called O'Connor's retirement one month ago? Correct -- me. Big accomplishment, right?
